TradesViz Enhances Trading Journal with AI Coaching and Automated Bank Syncing
TradesViz has rolled out a release layer spanning April through August 2026, introducing AI Coach, Plaid Sync, exit analytics, and refined simulator controls across its trading journal.

The update consolidates prior monthly changelogs into a single user-facing record covering desktop and mobile surfaces.
AI Coach, data ingestion, and exit diagnostics
- April through August rolled into a unified changelog; key work per month:
- April: prop firm rule-aware tracking, DAS Trader Pro auto-sync, Real-Time Stock Screener, Custom TradingView Indicators, seasonality workflow overhaul.
- May: Tags v2 default-on, Import Doctor self-explanatory error reporting, note and plan templates, simplified simulator entry points.
- June: AI Coach launches as a ranked, evidence-backed trading review; major analysis pages rebuilt; prop-firm rules, screener presets, chart templates, and simulator navigation made more flexible.
- July: open-position investigation tooling, ticker-level company context, session replay, exit diagnostics distinguishing profit giveback from early-exit patterns.
- August: options practice stack rebuilt, cross-session Options Strategy Backtest launched, Options Flow page converted to a guided discovery workflow.
- Plaid Sync adds direct bank and broker account data ingestion into the journal.
- Import-side fixes apply at parse time and do not rewrite trades already stored; deduplication intentionally skips matching executions, meaning re-uploading the same file does not refresh existing rows.
Simulator, mobile, options, and broker parser coverage
- Simulator gains seek-to-bar, session shortcuts, and next-day controls.
- Mobile V3 release ships updated layout and an embedded options practice surface.
- Cross-session Options Strategy Backtest enables multi-session options strategy evaluation.
- Parser, grouping, validation, and sync improvements target Schwab, thinkorswim (ToS), Interactive Brokers (IBKR), Tradier, TradeStation, Questrade, cTrader, Tastytrade/Tastyworks, Tradovate, MT4/MT5, and TradingView.
Operational checklist and parameter requirements
- Treat any import deletion as a cascade risk: trade-level notes, tags, images, targets, chart links, and plan links can be lost alongside empty trade rows.
- Run Import Doctor logs before opening support tickets for broker format mismatches.
- Benchmark AI Coach reviews against a sample of manually tagged trades before adopting its ranking output as a baseline metric.
- Verify Plaid Sync connection type, OAuth scope, and account permissions before linking live broker or bank feeds.
- For adjacent platform and execution tooling coverage, see Daily Business & Live News, which tracks broker integrations and automation rollouts including TradingView broker additions and MetaTrader 5 Automations deployments.
- Verdict: traders running daily journaling loops should validate Plaid Sync data fidelity against broker-side export files before treating ingested fills as primary source data; AI Coach output requires supervised benchmarking before integration into execution or risk rules.
